Out of Band Authentication

Your identity is checked through multiple channels at login as added protection when signing into your already secure electronic banking accounts.

Out of Band Authentication (OOBA) is an additional process of verifying your identity using a method outside of the device where login is being attempted, certain personal information change requests are being made or external transfers above a specific threshold are being attempted.

For example: when logging into Exchange OnLine Consumer Electronic Banking using a PC that is not recognized as a normal login location for the user, the system will attempt to identify the customer via a phone call or text using a secondary device that is not being used to access the financial information.
