Balloon Fiesta
October 3 - 9 | New Mexico
Feast your eyes on the sights around Albuquerque as we take in the annual hot air balloon festival, Balloon Fiesta. Witness the Mass Ascension in the morning as well as evening activities such as a drone light show and fireworks. Then travel to the Santa Fe area to visit a ghost town and the Loretto Chapel which houses the Miraculous Staircase. There will also be a stop at Bandelier National Monument and a visit to Taos Pueblo.

Each year, all GYC travelers must fill out the waiver form to be able to travel with us. All travel policies can be found on the second page of the travel schedule, the back of your payment receipt or below.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I travel with GYC if I am not a member?
People who are not members of the GYC Program are eligible to travel with us when accompanied by a member, providing reservation requirements have been met (one non-meber guest per GYC member). Six weeks after the trip's introduction, non-members may sign up. An additional fee will be charged to all non-member travelers.
How can I reserve a spot on a trip?
Reservations may be taken over the phone, at your local branch, via email (gyc@nebat.com) or through the mail on a first-come, first-serve basis. A down payment will be due within 10 days of making your reservation. Down payments vary by trip.
Is travel protection available?
Travel protection is optional and may be purchased by the traveler. The bank does not sell travel protection, but several options are available. This information is available upon request.
What if I miss the final payment due date?
Payments received after the final payment due date will incur an additional $10 late fee per person.
What if I need to cancel a trip?
Unless otherwise specified in the trip information, if you cancel after you have made your deposit but before the final due date, you may transfer the full payment to a scheduled NEBAT GYC tour, or we will refund your payment minus 50% of the down payment. If you cancel after the final payment due date, a refund of payments is made only if your seat is resold. If your seat is not resold, no refund is available.
