When opening a savings account, the following information must be provided to comply with federal regulations:
- Full legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Physical residential address (P.O. Box is not sufficient).
- A valid photo identification card (state or government issued).
- Social security number.
Statement Savings accounts are a great way to meet your savings goals! A few details you might want to consider are:
- Minimum opening deposit: $50.
- Minimum balance requirement: $250 daily balance.
- Below minimum balance requirements anytime in a calendar quarter: $15/quarter service fee.
