Online documents offer greater efficiency and convenience. eStatements are free, electronic replicas of your printed paper statement.
eNotices are a free, electronic and efficient way to receive important documents.
eStatements are free, electronic replicas of your printed paper statement that eliminate the need to print and mail the paper copies. Follow the simple sign-up instructions demonstrated in the Online Document Sign-up video below to get started today!
You may enroll in eStatements through Exchange OnLine, National Exchange Bank & Trust’s free consumer eBanking program. As your statements are available, they will be located in Statements & eDocs within the Accounts Menu drop down.
If you are already an Exchange OnLine customer, simply log into Exchange OnLine and choose “Statements & eDocs” under the Accounts menu. You will be taken through a one-screen consent form. After agreeing to receive eStatements, choosing this link in the future will take you directly to your eDocuments.
Accounts available for eStatements include checking, savings, money market, loans and CDs.
Some customers may be curious why they need a statement when all the information they need is available in their account activity screen in Exchange OnLine.
Federal laws require that customers are sent a statement regardless of whether they can view the information online through their electronic banking account. Financial institutions may only offer the statements electronically if they are similar to the statement they would receive via the US mail.
eTax Forms are available inside Exchange OnLine. These forms include Forms 1098, 1099 and 5498.
eNotices are electronic versions of banking notices you receive in the mail.
You may enroll in eTax Forms through your Exchange OnLine electronic banking account. Tax documents are delivered to the online banking profile owner who is the first person listed on the account because that is where the information is filed with the IRS.
eTax Forms are available to all customers enrolled in Exchange OnLine. Exchange OnLine is National Exchange Bank & Trust’s free consumer eBanking program.
If you are already an Exchange OnLine customer, simply log into Exchange OnLine and choose “Statements and eDocs” under the Accounts Menu and then choose the Tax Forms tab. You will be taken through a consent form if you have not already agreed to eDocs.
In addition to eTax Forms, other notices are also available inside Exchange OnLine. eNotices are a great way to receive important information about your accounts faster than in the mail. They also reduce clutter, help you stay organized and save trees!
Changing your document delivery method is simple and easy through your Exchange OnLine electronic banking account.

No, online documents are FREE to National Exchange Bank & Trust customers.
Your online documents will be in a PDF format so you will need the free program Adobe Reader or a similar PDF Viewer solution. Visit the Adobe Reader website to download the free software.
You may continue to balance your statement as done previously. If you previously chose to balance using the helpful information on the back of the printed statement, you may still access this form by scrolling to the last page of your eStatement or you may find it on the Disclosures page.
First, verify that you have the latest version of your PDF Reader. Second, confirm that you have configured your browser to allow pop-ups from the Exchange OnLine site. If you have confirmed that both of these issues are addressed and you are still not able to view your online documents, please call us at 1-877-921-7700, chat with us or Contact Us electronically.
Please consult your browser’s help area or visit Microsoft’s Website to learn how to change your pop-up setting.
Electronic tax documents are only found under the Exchange OnLine UserID for the individual under whom the tax information is filed because they are created based on the social security number of the primary account holder, not the account number. In Exchange OnLine, the name of the user can be found directly under the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Each user will only be able to see the tax documents filed with the IRS under their social security number as primary.
Due to varying document dates, new customers to Exchange OnLine may not immediately have a past document available. Please watch for your next document to be loaded.
If you no longer wish to receive eDocuments for an account, you may revert to paper in Exchange OnLine by a ) visiting the Statements & eDocs page and selecting the gears icons next to the document type you want to change on the Overview tab in a browser, b) visiting Settings on the mobile app, or c) you can contact us at 920-921-7700.
We will not charge you a fee to process the withdrawal of your consent. However, there is a monthly fee to receive each Paper Account Statement as outlined in our Account Services Pricing document. If you withdraw your consent to receive eDocuments electronically, the withdrawal will become effective after your request is processed. If you close your primary account on a statement or select “Paper” for your primary account, all Accounts included on that combined statement will revert to delivery of the Statements and Notices by the U.S. Postal Service. An account cannot receive both a paper and an eStatement.
Please note that upon withdrawal of your consent to eStatement, eNotices or Tax documents, access to those documents is no longer available. Users should download and/or print copies of documents for retention purposes before reverting to paper documents. Requests for copies of historical statements, eNotices or Tax documents may incur a fee as outlined in Account Services Pricing. If you withdraw your consent to receive eDocuments, you must re-consent electronically.
Online documents require a PDF Reader.
If you are unsure whether your program is the most current version, click here to access a test PDF file. If you need to update your software, please click the link below for information regarding downloading the latest version of Adobe Reader as one option.
Because online documents are accessed through Exchange OnLine, customers must also meet the hardware and software requirements for Exchange OnLine as outlined in the Electronic Services Agreement.
After consent is given, customers will begin to build a history of active electronic statements. For tax and record-keeping purposes, customers are encouraged to download and save statements in a safe and secure location.
