Unlawful Gambling

Business Customers

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) requires National Exchange Bank & Trust to establish procedures to ensure that our customers do not conduct transactions relating to unlawful Internet gambling. “Restricted” transactions are considered to generally include any funds transfer, credit, check, draft, or card (debit or credit) transaction that involves a betting or wagering business which is illegal under U.S. or state law.

UIGEA also requires us to take action to prevent activities that may involve these types of restricted transactions, including closing accounts.

If you believe you are lawfully engaged in the business of betting or wagering, please contact us.

Consumer Customers

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) requires National Exchange Bank & Trust to establish procedures to ensure that our customers do not conduct transactions relating to unlawful Internet gambling. If you have previously engaged in Internet gambling transactions using your National Exchange Bank & Trust credit card or CheckCard, these transactions have now been blocked.

If you feel a legal transaction you are conducting online has incorrectly been blocked, please contact the business with which you are completing the transaction for resolution of the error.
