National Exchange Bank & Trust is pleased to announce two experienced members of its lending team - Mark Witt, AVP/ Lending, and Monika Waisbrot, Commercial Loan Officer - are now serving businesses in Kingston, Dalton, Markesan and the surrounding area. While both lenders have been with the bank for several years, their expanded presence in these communities will provide local businesses with greater access to personalized lending support and expertise.

Mark Witt - AVP/Lending

Bringing more than 20 years of banking experience to his role, Witt has served in a variety of lending and leadership capacities since joining National Exchange Bank & Trust in 2020. In his current position as AVP/Lending, he works closely with commercial clients to provide financing solutions for equipment, real estate, expansion projects and other business needs. He also plays a key role in mentoring lenders and supporting lending operations across the area.

A Portage native, Witt graduated from Portage High School before earning his bachelor's degree in business and marketing from Concordia University–Wisconsin. He now resides in Pardeeville with his family. He is actively involved in the community as a citizen member of the Columbia County Revolving Loan/Housing Committee and volunteers with Portage Youth Softball Inc., where he serves as both a coach and treasurer.

Monika Waisbrot - Commercial Loan Officer

Monika Waisbrot joined National Exchange Bank & Trust in 2021 and brought nearly fifteen years of financial services experience to her role. Before becoming a commercial lender, she worked as a branch manager at other financial institutions, developing strong skills in customer service, operations and relationship building. At National Exchange Bank & Trust, she works alongside business owners to support financing needs such as commercial real estate, equipment, and working capital.

Originally from Poland, Waisbrot attended the Academy of Economics, where she earned her associate’s degree. She now resides in Westfield, Wisconsin, and is an active volunteer in the region. She serves on the board of directors for Budda Box Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting cancer patients, and volunteers at community events including Dairylicious Days in Westfield and Fish -N -Fun in Montello.

Commitment to Local Businesses

Steve Holz, Chief Lending Officer for National Exchange Bank & Trust, had this to say “Both Mark and Monika bring tremendous experience and a deep commitment to the communities we serve. Their presence will strengthen our ability to meet the needs of local businesses across Green Lake County and throughout the bank’s north-west region.”
