2025 Step-Up Scholarship Application

One 2025 high school graduate and one college student will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used at an accredited public or private college, university or vocational school. Funds are distributed upon submission of transcripts reflecting a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average during the first academic semester after the scholarship is awarded.

Application, transcripts and references must be submitted no later than March 31, 2025.

Eligible Applicants

Any high school senior or undergraduate college student through age 25 that has a Dollars for $cholars or Step-Up Account.

Applicants will be considered regardless of race, creed, gender or color. National Exchange Bank & Trust current employees, members of its boards, participants in bank affiliated organizations and immediate family members of the aforementioned are not eligible.

On no more than one 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper, please explain how you will demonstrate your money management skills throughout your college career, as you take your next steps to being financially independent. Essays should be typed.
