Congratulations to Jeff De Smidt, Vice President in Lending, who retired from National Exchange Bank & Trust on March 1, 2024.
De Smidt joined the bank in 1990 and throughout his tenure worked in lending. At the end of his career, De Smidt oversaw all aspects of lending activity for the bank’s Cedar Grove office to ensure both businesses and consumers’ financing needs were met.
De Smidt grew up in Cedar Grove, where he attended Cedar Grove-Belgium High School. He earned his associate degree from UW - Sheboygan. De Smidt currently resides in Cedar Grove with his family, where he is an active member of the community, serving on the local United Way board and volunteering at the local food pantry.
