On Friday, June 26, National Exchange Bank & Trust in Campbellsport hosted a Fill the Boots drive-by donation to benefit the Campbellsport Fire Department and First Responders (CFD).

More than 15 CFD members and volunteers along with bank employees collected donations to offset the annual CFD fundraiser which was canceled due to COVID-19 this year. More than 250 American Flags were handed out to people as they drove by with their donations.

Beth Schmidt, the Operations Officer in Campbellsport, said, “It was a great event. Thank you to the community for their out-pouring of generosity and thank you to the fire department and first responders for their service to the community. We are so glad we were able to help support them.”

The event wrapped up with a presentation from the Honor Guard and the singing of the National Anthem by Joan Schlaefer and Owen Priepke.
