What Is The Monthly Cost?

Monthly subscription apps like Netflix, Hulu and Spotify have grown in popularity as the “cord-cutting” trend rises. In fact, the average American spends anywhere between $200 and $250 a month on these subscriptions*. While the monthly cost of individual apps may seem small, they can quickly add up and many are not aware when their auto-renew goes into effect.

Instead of letting your subscription charges sneak up on you, now you can know exactly when to expect them. National Exchange Bank & Trust is excited to tell our customers about a great new feature in the Personal Finance tool that shows when these costs are coming.

How Personal Finance Can Help

Our Personal Finance tool can help tremendously when it comes to managing your monthly subscriptions, and we are very excited to announce a brand-new feature that allows customers to forecast their upcoming expenses! This resource is completely digital and is an integrated asset to our Exchange OnLine program. Personal Finance allows customers to do the following when it comes to managing their budgets:

  • Get a complete picture of your finances. Customers can add bank accounts, even from institutions outside of National Exchange Bank & Trust, to get a bird’s eye view of their accounts in one place.
  • Create a budget that’s tailored to you. A completely custom and interactive budget can be made to fit your lifestyle and financial needs.
  • Track your expenses and where they come from. Receive powerful insights on where, when, and how you spend your money.
  • Identify upcoming costs to plan accordingly. Our customers are now able to prioritize future expenditures by seeing what upcoming bills payments look like. Under the transactions tab within the Personal Finance tool, you can access each subscription, see what day you can expect a charge, and what that charged amount will be.
