NEBAT Welcomes Two New Lenders

National Exchange Bank & Trust recently hired two new lenders in Sheboygan County.

Matt Doane – VP/Commercial Lending

Matt Doane works out of the Howards Grove office. As the Vice President of Commercial Lending, Doane will be responsible for business development, supporting existing commercial loan customers and building relationships in the Howards Grove community and Greater Sheboygan County.

Doane brings with him 10 years of experience in the lending industry; he has held titles of Commercial Lender and Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager at other financial institutions.

Doane recently relocated from Holly Ridge, North Carolina, to Sheboygan, where he now resides with his family. He grew up in Saltville, Virginia, where he attended Northwood High School. Following high school, Doane went to Emory & Henry College (in Virginia), where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in management. Doane has also earned his graduate’s degree from Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management.

Dan Shilts – Commercial Lending Officer

Dan Shilts will also be responsible for business development, monitoring and managing existing loan portfolios and building relationships in Sheboygan County, working out the bank’s Cedar Grove office. He brings with him nine years of experience in the lending industry.

Shilts grew up in New Richmond, where he attended New Richmond High School. He then went on to Concordia University of Wisconsin and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance. He currently resides in Grafton with his spouse and their two children. He is active in his community as a member of the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks – Wisconsin Chapter as well as the Commercial Association of Realtors – Wisconsin.
