National Exchange Bank & Trust is proud to announce that Nicole Wiese, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Ben Buteyn, Vice President in Commercial Lending, completed the three-year Graduate School of Banking (GSB) program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
GSB consists of two-week-long sessions for three consecutive summers with instruction focusing on a broad and fundamental understanding of commercial banking and what is required to successfully manage a commercial bank in today’s financial services environment. Instruction uses a mix of lectures, bank simulations and case study discussions along with a series of intersession projects through the year to help integrate the curriculum between various areas of study.

Wiese currently participates in Fondy Band Boosters and lives in Fond du Lac with her family.
Buteyn operates out of the bank’s Waupun office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Business from Calvin College in Michigan and has more than 10 years of experience in financial services.
